Growth Track

Designed for players who want feedback and guidance on developing a business idea or have an established business and are looking to grow their business.

Objectives:

Gain valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship by:

• Participating in virtual workshops on topics related to entrepreneurship and build community with like-minded people through group sessions and one-on-one mentorship.
• Getting guidance and mentorship from business leaders who have been in your shoes and have successfully developed their ideas into businesses.
• Gain the skills to enhance branding and marketing to perfect your business pitch for potential partners and investors.
• Making powerful connections to industry-disrupting experts, peers, and NBA Player Development team members.
• Gaining access to resources for growth and knowledge in entrepreneurship.

Outcomes:

• Increased knowledge of what it takes to be an entrepreneur. You’ll know what steps to take next to grow your business and achieve your long-term goals.

• May - August

• Program Structure:

• 3-month program (with both virtual and in-person components)
• Weekly virtual group meetings or one-on-one mentorship to learn from business and thought leaders.
• Frequent check-ins and communication with your assigned mentor.
• Access to program identified in-person event (i.e. NBA Summer League)

Criteria

• Must have played in the NBA, NBA G League, or WNBA in the most recent season.
• Must be able to attend virtual sessions and program identified NBA events.
• Must have a business idea or established a business and interest in growing that business.
• Committed to working with a mentor on business idea or business growth/expansion.
